Valentine's Day Love Poem No. 1
|
_______________________________ I try to remember when first I crawled;
But every single time I do
I can't - But then I smile and say
I'm sure I did, one special day . I try to remember when first I stood;
A futile effort lost in time;
But this, I know, that once I did
I was on my way to walk and climb. Since then, my life has challenged me
And many milestones have passed me by;
Most are now a faded memory
And some - Well, some still make me sigh. I try to remember when first I fell in love;
But I can't recall that moment in time,
For I think it was a natural thing -
Like Winter quietly turning to Spring.
And even though, I do not know,
When first, in love, I fell for you -
It doesn't matter, and I smile and say
I'm sure I did one special day.

Valentine's Day Love Poem No. 3 _______________________________ Invisible, is the flowing force That a magnet exerts on steel; But I can see its results, For its effects are very real .
Unseen is the mighty force, That ties blue Earth to Sol ; But its presence is unmistakable, And makes the System whole.
Invisible is the binding force, That you exert on me; An attraction that unites our hearts With love's great purity. ______________________________ Copyright © 2011 Ara John Movsesian ____________________________ |

_______________________________ Everyone is set afloat
Upon the open Sea of life
One day to languish in the doldrums,
The next to battle the winds of strife . Thus fortune, sometimes, upon me shines;
And for a while, it is my fate;
But then it turns its solemn face -
Uncertainty is life's sad state. But you are a constant in my life,
A welcome refuge from the turbulent Sea;
A haven for my battered soul -
A safe harbor of love and certainty. ______________________________

Valentine's Day Love Poem No. 5 _______________________________ Clothing made of silken thread Has a texture and a feel That is pleasing to the touch, With a sensory appeal .
Yet, even though I'm fond of it As a choice for personal attire; It could never ever cause in me strong feelings of desire.
Wildflowers in an Alpine meadow, In hues that mesmerize; Are a source of great attraction And are pleasing to my eyes.
But even though their beauty, Is a symbol of Nature's grace, They could never, ever excite me As when I see your lovely face.
Silk and flowers, music and art; Are a much desired collection; But none of them save you, my love Can give me love and affection. ______________________________ Copyright © 2011 Ara John Movsesian ____________________________ More Valentine's Day Love Poems |
